Configuration

Config File Location​

The spot CLI stores its configuration in ~/.spot/.

Security​

The configuration directory has restricted permissions (mode 0700 - user only). Configuration files contain authentication tokens and secrets.

Never share your configuration files.

Resetting Configuration​

To reset your configuration to defaults, delete the config file:

rm ~/.spot/config.json

A new configuration will be created with default settings on the next spot command.

Note: You will need to re-authenticate with any resources after resetting your configuration.
